Except in emergencies, no action may be taken upon any item raised under this item on the agenda, until the matter itself has been specifically included on the agenda as an item upon which action may be taken. Per NRS 116 all members have the right to speak to the association or the Board of Directors at all meetings during the member comment period.<\/li>\n

            NOTE:<\/strong> A member complained that the agenda was not included in the Newsletter\/Notice of Board of Directors Meeting and stated that it is required in the NRS. Please note that NRS 116.31083 paragraph 5 states that: \u201cThe notice of a meeting of the executive board must state the time and place of the meeting and include a copy of the agenda for the meeting OR the date on which and the locations where copies of the agenda may be conveniently obtained by the units\u2019 owners\u2026\u201d The board has chosen to use the second option so any late items can be included on the agenda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
